What to expect?
When starting your agency you can expect to work 25-45 hours a week, make 10-15 calls a day, and
make follow-up calls. Customers will request rates quotations that’ll require your prompt response. The
reward is always in the follow-up. A successful agent will have both a working relationship and a personal
relationship with their customer.         

Freight Broker Agent Responsibilities:  
Solicit truckload services to shippers nationwide.
Handle rate proposals for each customer.
Present company materials to customers.
Manage shipments from pickup to delivery.
Maintain excellent communication with customer.   

Requirements:
Communicate well with others (required)
Truckload sales/operations background (preferred)
1-2 years freight sales/operations experience (required)
$1 million or more in truckload revenue (preferred)   
Must have a PC with high speed internet (required)
Basic use of Microsoft Office products (required)

Compensation is commission only.

You must have transportation experience. We don’t consider freight broker schools as experience, and we
don’t recommend them.
